The Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 3B serves the neighborhoods of Glover Park and Cathedral Heights in Washington DC. ANC3B consists of five commissioners, each elected from one of the five Single Member Districts (SMDs) making up the ANC area. The periodic ANC meetings serve primarily as a community forum wherein the residents of the neighborhood can communicate their concerns directly to the commissioners. In the periods between ANC meetings, the commissioners work at resolving specific problems and managing community projects which will benefit the neighborhood as a whole.
