Terms of Use
By using indexo.dev (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by the entity identified in the Legal Notice.
1. The Service
indexo.dev is a free domain discovery and intelligence service. It aggregates technical metadata about Internet domains from public sources (Certificate Transparency logs, public DNS, RDAP, and a respectful first-party web crawler) and exposes that data through a website and a public REST/MCP API.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to facilitate spam, phishing, scraping for malicious enumeration, credential stuffing, or any activity that breaches third-party rights or applicable law.
- Bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication or any other technical protection.
- Resell or redistribute bulk extracts of the database as a competing dataset.
- Use the Service to build a profile of natural persons against their will.
We may suspend or revoke access to any user, IP, or API key that violates these rules, without notice.
3. API usage
The public API is offered subject to per-minute and per-day rate limits, which may change. Free use is permitted for individual, research and small commercial purposes. You must include a reasonable attribution to "indexo.dev" when republishing API responses on a public surface. Heavy or commercial use may require a paid plan; contact legal@indexo.dev.
4. Crawling policy
Our crawler identifies itself by user-agent, fetches one page per
domain at a low rate, and respects robots.txt. If you
operate a domain and wish to exclude indexo.dev specifically, disallow
our user-agent in robots.txt; we will stop fetching
within 24 hours.
5. Removal requests
Domain owners and other rightful parties can request removal of specific information about a domain by writing to legal@indexo.dev from a verifiable contact associated with the domain. We will review each request on its merits. Some information — notably Certificate Transparency entries — is published in independent public logs that we cannot retract; we can only stop displaying it ourselves.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, freshness or fitness for a particular purpose of any data shown. Public sources may be incomplete or outdated; cached values may not reflect the live state of a domain.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The website's design, code and original content are the property of the operator. The aggregated data is derived from public sources and is not claimed as proprietary; trademarks, domain names and other identifiers belong to their respective owners.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always available at this URL; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. The competent courts are those of the operator's domicile, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
