What is the taste of data? Data Cuisine explores food as a medium for information. It is a project by data visualization expert Moritz Stefaner and curator Susanne Jaschko under the label prozessagenten . We research ways to represent local open data in local food , through its inherent qualities such as color, form, texture, smell, taste, nutrition, origin etc. The workshop is a collaborative research experience , blurring the boundaries between teachers and participants, data and food. At its end, a local data menu is created and publicly tasted. Up to now, we have run workshops in Helsinki, Barcelona, Leeuwarden, Basel, Berlin, Gembloux, Boston, Pristina, and Paris .
