Osaka is envisioned as an izakaya, a place that is both a bar and an informal restaurant. Noticeably, Osaka offers one of the largest selections of natural wines by the bottle available in Antwerp, while serving an evolving seasonal menu of handcrafted sharing dishes. Osaka always has room for walk ins, although you might have to wait a few minutes at the bar. Camino was founded in 2012, originally stationed at the Vrijdagmarkt serving only lunch, it relocated to Muntplein in 2018, broadening up their range of dishes. Camino’s chefs now serve a variety of small and large asian fusion plates, with their classic rice bowls being a staple since the restaurant’s conception. Expect a lively no nonsense atmosphere and relish in Camino’s large sun bathed terrace during the summer months. Tap Out was launched during Corona as a take away burger concept operating from the kitchen of Camino. Even though Tap Out went into hibernation, we are now on the way to opening a separate venue soon, just a stone’s throw away from Osaka. Stay tuned.
