This club is the proud sponsor of the Shelby Hamfest. Grandaddy of them all. The Shelby Hamfest is held every Labor Day Weekend and is held in Shelby, North Carolina. Thanks again for visiting and hope to see you at the Hamfest! The proceeds from the hamfest are used to maintain our multiple repeaters (6), equipment and are used for donations to local deserving charities in and around the Cleveland, Gaston and Rutherford county area.Shelby Amateur Radio Club is the proud sponsor of ARES of Cleveland County. The club is involved in many other activities including but not limited to the following activities: ARES, RACES, Foxhunting, Public Service Events, Special Events, Hamfests, Field Day, contesting, CW, HF, VHF, UHF Operation, DSTAR, DMR and Packet.
