Born and trained in Bulgaria, currently he lives and works in the United States. Recognized by the American Government as being one of the premier designer silversmiths, and foremost experts in the art of Chasing and Repousse. His work has been widely exhibited throughout the world since 1982. The Valentin Yotkov Studio is the only school in the United States specializing in Chasing and Repoussé instruction. The studio located in Brooklyn, New York offers weekly classes, intensive workshops as well as private tutoring. Open year round. All classes and workshops taught exclusively by Master Silversmith Valentin Yotkov. Valentin also teaches workshops at other schools in the United States and Europe.
