WCWAA has grown significantly since its start, now with over 5,000 participants annually. We serve youth primarily in the western part of Union County, NC. Our programming spans eight sports with opportunities for children of all ages to play recreationally or compete at a higher level year-round. Further we offer six athletic opportunities for special needs youth and adults with physical and/or intellectual challenges through our Take On Sports program. We are thankful to the many volunteers who make all this happen!WCWAA is located on Hwy 84 at Weddington Optimist Park in Weddington, NC.
